About Kyra
Kyra Lieberman is an artist based in Florida. A writer, photographer and designer, she is passionate about seeing the beauty in things and understanding the world. She grew up in North Georgia and Central Florida and loved creating worlds on the page and studying them in any book she could get her hands on.
She enjoys capturing moments and bringing scenes to life as an analog and digital photographer. She also has nearly a decade of experience in the Adobe Creative Suite, creating eye-catching designs for print and digital, including social media branding, published books from cover to cover, newspapers, zines, fliers, posters, and more. A multidisciplinary artist and experienced project manager, she is a leader and a team-player who enjoys a challenge.
A film enthusiast, she has published several essays on film history and analysis as well as reviews of current films, in addition to cultural commentary and well-researched journalistic pieces. In 2022, she published her undergraduate thesis, “The Golden Age of America as Created in Hays Code Era Movies.”
She earned her B.S. in Media Production, Management and Technology from the University of Florida. An experienced writer, researcher and editor, she was editor-in-chief of Daytona State College’s In Motion newspaper, where she coordinated production for two years. She wrote and edited dozens of articles in a variety of disciplines, including as Opinion Editor, news, arts and entertainment, sports, features, long-form interviews and photo stories.
